Yes, Shore Leave is coming up again! And this year will see Bruce Boxlietner and Jerry Doyle at the con!

I-Con finally has some media guests listed for the con in April.

Expect to see Andreas Katsulas, Richard Biggs, Jason Carter and Julie Catlin Brown if you attend.

I'll be there. I'm taking Aaron to Jersey City, NYC, and I-Con (held on Long Island) for his 16th birthday.

Oops. You and Aaron are gonna be sleeping over. Guess I don't have to demand attentions.

Asis. It wil be great to see you there. I want to walk the dealers room while employed and with a buddy who will say, "aw...go for it."

Now that it is really winter, I guess spring is right around the corner....I hope....I wish?

The Official Hotel of the Convention has been posted, so I guess it's time to make my reservation.

It is going to be so much more convenient to have my own car to get back and forth this time. The shuttle they offer to the con is nice, but I always seem to miss the one I'm aiming at and have to wait for the next one. Since they schedule some of the best speakers at night, it will be especially handy to be able to run off for a decent dinner and still make it back to the con in time.

Ok, I've done it!

I mailed out the paperwork for I-Con memberships for Aaron and me on January 14. Just in time for the cutoff for the cheapest rate. Even better, since Aaron and I both have student IDs, two 3-day memberships cost me a whopping $36!

Today I made my reservation at the hotel. We will be staying at the official hotel Friday and Saturday nights. It's a nice place, a little pricey, and a good spot to socialize when not at the con.

So, AsIs, are you ready? I am truly looking forward to seeing you again, so I hope you have the weekend of April 19-21 penciled in on your calendar. smile
